The importance for Certified Personal Fitness Trainers and Group Fitness Instructors, along with other fitness professionals, to carry professional liability insurance cannot be overstated. It is - simply put - a prudent and essential element of doing business in the fitness profession. The insurance providers shown below are not listed due to preference or any special rates they offer, nor does PFIT endorse (either explicitly or implicitly), but are simply drawn from information we at Professional Fitness Instructor Training have on hand. No doubt there are a number of other insurance providers available, however these are the ones we are aware of:
